“Silence is everywhere there…”
Kathmandu’s day
In a deep and
dark October
I am alone in
the surrounding
Gazing from my
window
To the street
below
On a freshy
fallen silent shroud of fog
I am alone
Silence is
everywhere there…
My buddies have
gone
Apartments have
no tones
Corridors are
wide
Spiders are laid
Mosquitoes are flaying
I am alone
Silence is
everywhere there…
City is in deep
silence
Roads are wide and
the lights deem
Human stepping
are no there
Only the kites
in the foggy sky
I am alone
Silence is
everywhere there…
I have my bulky
books
And a poetry of Hinduism
The poetry sounds
of Dashain
It reminds me
the days of receiving Tika and Jamara
And the swing in
my home yard
I am alone
Silence is
everywhere there…
I feel something
difficult
The heart beats hurriedly
The mind sinks
into the imagination
The schema is no
different than of my home yard
And the sound of
blessing of my old parents
I am alone
Silence is
everywhere there…
